How to connect to consle

hello
i need a way to connect consle to my server(manually)
i've tried but it didnt work ~ it lags without any resolts





For who didnt get what i mean :

This tool is a Remote Control Panel. which allowes you to use commands like "game.exp_rate", even your Gameserver isn't on your home-pc.

PS:i have the correct port and the correct pasword.

Connect with the tool and try a command. Go into your command_XXXX-XX-XX.log (normally in the log-folder) and check if the command is shown up.

If the command is in the log and nothing happened, you used the wrong syntax for this command. If the command isn't in the command.log your port/ip/password is wrong!

no commands in the command.log
but i'm sure i'm using the same pasword and port and ip
the problem is in the program because when i press send, it lags and no error message appears
but when i write random ip and random pasword error message appears
so i'm asking for a manual way to use it

try: telnet your_ip your_port

if you are using port 4515 check if your uploadserver is using the same port.

Windows vista/7 doesn't come with telnet anymore. Get Putty, set it to Telnet and put in your IP and Port.

BTW: The Telnetinterface is very limited. You won't see what you are typing until youve sent it and you don't get any info back. cprint or something like that will just write it to the actual herlock window ( you can read envs tho).

i've downloaded putty and connected successfully but nothing happen when i writ a command
can you give one command to try ?

It looks like you are not successfully connected to the gameserver. (No welcome-message and password-prompt)

Try to type in "list". This should show all Vars which are set.

Check your Firewall if something is blocking the connection.

A correct connection with Putty will look like this:

it was blocked by firewall
now it gives me( invaild command ) every time i write #learn_all_skill("ADMIN") ~~

You are prolly connected to the auth/upload server then. Those can't execute gameserver commands. Type list and you will get more information what you are dealing with.

i have one more question if i dont write anything about consle in game server , auth and uppload
how can i choose wich one am i in
they are all in the same def port 4515 right?

nope. Auth is on 4501 i think and gs on 4515. often upload is on 4515 too. you can edit this by hexing the .exe
