So this my first guide


Let's start !

In some servers i see hackers (i mean he gets GM manualy with some remote sh*t)

How to fix it!

1. Go to server folder and open CaptainHerlockServer.pdb with notepad!
2. In notepad menu Edit>Find and search Word genius
3. Replace it with your password! EXAMPLE: TEST
4. Do same **** with PrincessAuroraServer.pdb!
5. Now go to Gameserver.opt and add this S console._password:Your password example TEST


Now your server is protected! From n00bs!

And ofcourse u need to set up SQL password if u dont have it!

ehm, you wanna tell me to protect your server you have to edit pdb-files?
Thanks, now I see how stupid some people really are...

Next time google for the ".pdb"-extension, it's just a programdebuginfo, it's useless.

Just block this port 4515 in firewall and u will stop it That easy way.

.PDB has nothing to do with it, yet this kind of protection is verry LOW.

you can break an code like that in less then 5minutes....

#tip : Always use an 'Special' key in your password, or just make a data-array to prevent injections and so on

I think you rather failed with this answer.
I never said anything about DDoS.

Still the same: Pdb-Files (ProgramDataBase-File) are Debug-Information about a program. Those files are more than useless for us, I still don't get it why they didn't got removed from those Repacks.

just add the line mentioned to the gameserver.opt -> recompress -> done.
Sidenote: The Console seems to be hardcoded tho. AAAAAAND the Uploadserver got a telnetinterface too but it isn't that usefull.
