About the potion DropRules...

I barely ever make thready because i prefer to fix problems myself, however I'm quite stuck on the Drops for Potions (which were removed in 1.2 and 1.3 of the Arcadia-Repack), since I cannot download an earlier version anymore to look up how it was linked together before.

I'd really appreciate it if somebody would give me a little hint on which groups to add where to. Btw, I don't want to use egurgle's drop rules, because he added a lot of stuff that I don't want to have in my server.

if you look on the arcadia forum someone did modify the drop rules to add pots in idk what the topic was called or who it was sorry

Yeah, those are egurgle's Drop Rules, my post actually said that I want to modify them myself because egurgle's are a bit too much customized for my taste

Thought potion drops makes the server crash. where are the dropsettings? maybe i can send you mine

That would be nice, I need MonsterResource.dbo and DropResource.dbo or something

Dropping Potions and Scrolls is questionable as it causes a large amount of clutter in the amount you'd need to actually be effective. Like I mentioned in another thread and I have mentioned to NCarbon, add these shops to the merchants in towns on a tiered system:

Hori/Katan/Laksy = R2-R4 HP/MP/Misc Pots and Scrolls
HV = R5-R6 (My HV is the central hub for R5-R6)
City of Ruins = R7 (My COR is the central hub for R7+)

That's a nice idea, but it's too much work for a server only me and my friends play on, thanks anyway

I can throw you my script for Merchants for Main Cities + HV (I don't have COR Done yet) but All my NPC Shops up to COR (City of Ruins) are functional. I'll be taking a video here very shortly to demonstrate the shops.

It's basically a script that adds the shops and NPCs to the DB right? As i run-once-use-forever

I'd like to at least see it if you don't mind, not sure if I'll use it, I just love the idea of potion drops too much ya know? :3

Oh and btw, how did you customize the NPC strings? Are you able to extract the client or can you pass real strings through the scripts?

He will never work for nCarbon, since they aren't that kind to ppl who have other interests in a rappelz pserver
edit: oh just watched that vid Well maybe you get lucky but i think there are some ppl who jsut can not forget the "war" they had with you
