[Request] A Private Server to Meet the Player's Demands

Alright, here goes my rant:

I have once stated it before.

What do I expect from a private server?

• I expect the server to have a x20 exp rate, or better
  
• I expect the server to have x100 drop rate, or better
  
• I expect the server to NOT charge 1mil for ss, or 500k for CC, or even 3mil for CC. Insane prices belong on official rappelz, NOT HERE.
  
• I expect the server to offer a slightly increased tame rate, I expect the server to have an npc selling cards, and I expect the cs npc to sell tpro at a REASONABLE PRICE, like in between 200k-800k.
  
• If the server doesn't offer login buffs, I expect that the server will offer HV buffset. One for Mage, and one for Melee. (and not charge 10mil for a 100% buff.. oh. my. god.)
  
• I expect to play on a server with people in a party, as I play MMO's to play with other people. On a server with 100 people per day, less than 10% will find a party, all because of drop rates. FIX THE DROP RATES SO THAT ITEMS WILL ACTUALLY DROP PAST R4!!!!!!
  
• I expect the Staff of the server to be over the age of 18, 21 even, maybe. It is a maturity factor, now. Also because people under the age of 18 who get a job can't work the same hours as someone 18+, same concept. Would someone hire a 14 year old to work in their company? NO. So why should a 14 year old be a staff member of the private server of a game?
  
• I expect a server to have rules. I expect that both the GMs and the players, and the Devs(if any) will behave accordingly.
  
• I am looking for a server just like the KTS. I liked how the economy there wasn't bad, how cleric buff cards didn't cost 8483989423mil, and you could get a nice (leveled) pet for cheap.

Basically what I'm saying is if there isn't a server like the KTS out there, I don't think I will be playing there.

I am 21 years old, I live with my husband. I have a limited availability time where I can play rappelz. I don't want a low exp rate, because I would never, ever get anywhere. You must understand me here: People have lives. People love rappelz. Give them the best of both worlds, and make a KTS clone.

Please, Someone, anyone out there acknowledge my request and make a server like this.

Reasons of which I cannot run a server:

• I am not rich, and I don't have a nice computer.
  
• I don't have a job
  
• I don't have the proper bandwidth
  
• I don't have the time, or the desire to run my own server
  
• I don't want to deal with angry 14 year olds
  
• I don't want to deal with DDOS attacks
  
• I don't want to deal with any other random B.S. that everyone else has to deal with. I was GM once on another server, and I fricken loved it. But here, this, no. Not ever again.

P.S. If I don't find the server I am looking for, I just won't play at all. I'm fed up with this.


On a side note:

What do you guys expect a rappelz private server to be?

If you don't give what the player's want, what makes you think they will play? I've played 7 servers now, and quit every single one, because none are what I am looking for. I am picky, I want, what I want, and I'm obviously not getting it here.

I have a little hamachi server that is set up very much like you just proposed, except for the 100 people, heh :P
I agree with most of your statements. But with 100x drop rate, 2mil is an acceptable prize for a stamina saver, imo.

If NCarbon is ever to release their extraction tools, I'm sure some experts could make a server that will make team-working more of a necessity than a tiny benefit.

In a way you're right, but in a way you're wrong. As I quoted above, with a nice drop rate, the things up to r3 will drop slightly well. But everything r4 and above.. well. I've got an r6 char on a server with a x100 drop rate, I think. And.. it has 68mil, from not spending a dime anywhere else. I never get drops, If I farm for 500 chips, I end up getting 1 thing. That 1 thing is usually enough to only cover the price of the 500 chips. It's not right.. The drop rate needs to be higher, then I can agree with ss being 1-2 mil.

The NPCs that sell r5-r7 items cost over 70mil per item at r7, do you see what I'm saying here? If you can't farm for it, and you can't farm for the money for it, how are you going to buy it, and enchant it, and level it, and buy ss too?

well there are alternatives to this problem like raising the gold max per drop for each mob in the database that would fix the problem

Hmm... you're doing it wrong I guess.
When I farm with my 139 SB on my own server (Drop rate x120)
in one hour (~700 Chips) I get like AT LEAST 2 weapons and 3 armors plus a lot of gems that I can sell, and usually end up with about 25~35kk money that I can spend on what ever i want to spend it on.

Oh yeah, I might as well mention that the gold rate is x100 on my server, giving me ANOTHER 10kk per SS.

Darkness within has these rates and a helpful team, But due to some recent hacking of our server, We cannot say that we will remain up constantly.. Once we block this program and anyone else from hacking us the server will remain up. We have awesome rates and its great for teamwork, we have edited the wrath out of the server so that it benefits everyone on the server.. Just wanted to let you know that there is one out there with those kind of stats.

@Lish, I'm sorry for what's happening. I hope the best for you, and everyone else too.

I just created this to show my thoughts, and feelings and for others to show it too. I think it's a good way to find a common ground with the community.

Also, I don't mind if you don't agree with me. There are plenty of people who would play a 10x, as well as a server that is 60x.

And Speedy, I agree. Rappelz is the most boring game in the world, and yet somehow I cannot seem to stop playing it. It baffles me, it is a nightmare I wish to run away from. If I get what I want, I will still be bored. I'm always bored. I made my own server once with like x100 exp. (lol right?) xD I played for less than 30 minutes before both my server/computer/client crashed and I lost my desire for rappelz.

the x60 drop is more like x5 its less then AoR and that has been proven even the GM's Admited it seemed Low.

now servers hacked? i was under impression it was the Max Inv Bug that few Players Encoutered either way XP Rate & tame 50/50 was nice but drop is a lie & is not 60x because then R6 Would Drop Regulary not be Rare.

& No Offense to Dark but there is no way its x60 if quite alot can go threw 2k Chips to get not 1 Single drop & Mini-Bosses dont drop anything atm except Earrings/Rings ingame.

your drop tables either Buged or not added.

i'm with you hence reason why i stayed on AoR tried them all & well they arnt private or near close.
