We can’t deny it. The first Pokemon GO event, the Halloween Event, was a total success. In fact, it brings more user and it increases the total income of Niantic by almost 50% after this event. Since the event has ended, it’s time to predict some upcoming events that may happen in the near future.

The nearest holiday that may occur after the All Saints Day is Christmas. I think Niantic will never let this big holiday pass by without giving Pokemon GO users some Christmas Gifts.
Christmas Event 2016: What to Expect in this Event?

Let’s take a look in the past. On December 11, 1999, Pokemon released a special episode, Holiday Hi-Jynx, that features some ice type Pokemon like Lapras and Santa’s helper Jynx, and Rapidash as Santa’s reindeer.

So when will the Christmas Event start? Here’s our prediction:

Event Start Date: December 11th or 14th
Event End Date: December 25th
Rewards and Bonuses: Increase Item Drop (as a Christmas Present) ��
Increase of Ice Pokemon spawns such as Lapras, Jynx, Dewgong and more.
Increase in Ponyta and Rapidash spawns
Special Reward: Santa Hat for trainers ��

Da bin ich mal gespannt. Ein paar Lapras könnte man immer gut gebrauchen.
