Aergia - Pokemon Planet Battle/Mine/Fish Bot

Hi all,

I've working on a Pokemon Planet bot for the past few weeks and have gotten it to the point where some of you might find it useful as well.


The bot currently has three main modes it supports: Walking/Battle, Fishing, and Mining.

Along with these three modes there are a number of other useful features such as:
Pokemon Identification
Auto Healing
Refusing Trades
Skip Learning Moves
Configurable Kill,Avoid,Stop, and Catch Pokemon lists.
Basic Catching Feature
Slack Integration, this allows you to receive notifications and screenshots to your phone when you encounter rare Pokemon. Also, when you text "Update" to the bot using Slack it will reply with a screenshot update to your phone.

This bot does not run in the background so you will not be able to use your computer for other tasks when running it.

As of now the bot only supports Windows 32 and 64 bit. There are plans for a Mac version but nothing immediate.

I have ran the bot up to 24 hours at a time on my system without any issues. If you run into any bugs, which I'm sure you will, please let me know by replying to this thread. I would also appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Fixed "Failed to execute script runBot" error.
Wrapped the whole bot into a single .EXE
Should launch in sandbox but if your sandbox blocks mouse/keyboard inputs it will fail to send commands to the game. I found to work with this bot so far.

Which version and which os did you try it on? (64 bit win10?)

Virustotal is coming up with 5/65, will try to run it in sandbox.

Failed to execute scripts runBot..

So it shows up on VirusTotal plus it shows some funky message that it cannot find a script, which isn't in the files anywhere.. care to explain?

VirusTotal is most likely showing up for tesseract and win32 API which python is using. Tesseract is a Google OCR library used for text recognition (ID Pokemon names)and win32 is used for mouse and keyboard inputs. I can ship the bot without tesseract but then you'd download it yourself and I tried removing win32 API but other libraries are not as smooth with sending commands.

Which version of Windows are you trying to run it on? The bot is python based so it's possible a python installation is required but could very well be something else I overlooked. I've only run it in window 10 64 bit and windows Vista 64 bit. Both seem to work just fine for me. Do you get any more details with the error?

I can assure there is nothing malicious about it but I understand your concerns. I will take a look at it later when I am home from work and see if I can identify the issue. If you can provide me with any additional info on your OS that might be helpful.

Also runBot is part of the Aergia.exe. I used pyinstaller to build an exe of three scripts which make you the bot. There's a gui.py runBot.py and a custom helperLib.py they should be in the exe file. I haven't tested the 32 bit version properly however.


EDIT: if you're using 32bit I might have accidentally included the 64bit binary and that will definitely not execute. I will confirm later.

Yeah man, I am running a 32 bit system, and thanks for clearing that up, was kinda flabbergasted. I will try to install Python and run again.

I probably fudged up the 32 bit version of it then. I will put up a new version of it in a couple of hours and post here when I do so. Sorry about that.

Thanks bro, was busy last few days so will give it a shot very soon!

When trying to setup fishing it asks to "Select Fishing Bar", but what is a fishing bar? haha

EDIT :Hello, I am a idiot who doesn't read your website before asking questions :3 Should be solved now

EDIT2: Cannot get the bot to start fishing, it says in the logs "Starting to Fish" but never throws rod or hit spacebar when the thing comes up
Also after alot of trying I cannot get the "walk" option to use, except for the fact it will walk but not fight anything.

going to try mining now, will report back soon.

EDIT3: Nope, nothing works. I am also positive I set up everything correctly, as it says e.g. "Starting to mine..." but it just remains standing still

EDIT4: Mining seems to work up untill I get into a fight, It wont click anything when in battle and if i do it manually it wont continue after battle is done.

When I press configure battle, i select the area and it says "Area selected too small"

edit: i just zoomed in my game and selected that area, but now the program only walks my character, I have selected use attack "three" but does not attack when in a battle.

Quick question: It won't attack after the walking, fishing and mining it only shows the battle area and it wont do anything else. Do I have to set my screen resolution to something that it will work? Did i do something wrong? Please enlighten me.

I already tried my best but my best wasn't good enough.
