Freeze Hack in Use?

He didnt even bother to move around he just stood there while we blasted away in a **bleep** Skeeter..

Fix your game SOE or im going to start taking some FRAPS vids and posting on other sites as proof of why people should not play Hackside. I know you could careless but this will be just another nail in the "Why you should not play a SOE developed game"
Hopefully those nails will start to add up and eventually you can go back to making Playstations and leave the PC world to the people who give a **bleep**.

Sounds like this widow maker person is using the freeze cheat. Is this about what happens when its used?

But thats why i would rather it not be released, no matter what you do unless you jamer them your dead, so if it is publicly released then everyone would have it and it would not be very notisable in the open but you wouls have no chance.

No it sounds to me like widowmaker is using the infinite shield exploit. As far as I can tell this is an ingame thing and is not a hack.

Now about the freeze hack I was running into a tower from top floor-turned corner-ran down stairs halfway and BOOM, dead because I got sniped.
I talked to the guy that it's bullshit what he did, he gave me this lecture on if I was outside on his screen then that?s were I was so you must have lagged up Ect.... and I believed it so it might have been freeze hack or him making up an excuse

Actually there is a bug arround where people have double avatars, meaning you are in one place, and you have an avatar somewhere else too (like at the vehicle pad). Rarely occures though.

Well, actually it depends on CSHD (Client Side Hit Detection) which (simply explained) means that his computer calculates where you are, and not the server. MEaning if it lags for him, then you might be stuck in a place on his screen, while your in another place on your screen. Happend to me a million times, just try walking around a corner when getting shot at and it will happen.
