Alienware Order

Hey guys, I want to order my first Alienware gaming laptop (I will also need it for rendering), but as I know dekstop PCs are far more better than laptops, but in which way, I mean compare a Desktop PC and a laptop with the same specs, what are the differences?

Any comments & thoughts about it?

*The 3rd one, with full HD and 8GB of ram.

Spending 2000$ on a Laptop when you could build a desktop pc for 700$ which is already better

I know, but consider the fact that I'm traveling a lot, so I'll need smt. portable.

If you got enough money, you can buy a laptop. I know it is a hard decision but you could get a way better computer for the same amount of money than a laptop.
