Actually, color is a legitimate word, although it's used in AE.
I know, but I don't count AE as proper English :-/
On a more serious side note, I really prefer BE over AE in most cases. Of course you might just speak AE, however being forced to stick to either one or the over, the ups prevail and so I go with BE.

Well, that's a decision everyone can do for himself/herself, I'd said. But what "ups" do you recognize in BE over AE?

Historically, BE is the only actual English. AE is a sort of BE influenced by many foreign languages, resulting in words that, at least to my ears, don't sound English. Even insulting in BE sounds more elaborate than it does in AE. Besides, I so badly want to study for one semester in Cambridge, knowing this is very unlikely going to happen.
Oh and don't forget a American accent can make you sound mentally disabled. Really.
PS: Spare yourself some work and go for "oneself" next time you are avoiding being sexist ;-)

Sounds reasonable to me, and I'd agree in some points.

Technically, and according to the definition, it makes me a brony, yes. That's why I keep wondering when I hear the term "pony" used to describe a fan.
