In my opinion, they're useless. You either release your software/glitch/exploit, or you don't. If you want to share it with someone in particular, you can do that, but why do you need extra sections for that?

As I said, if I know something, and I don't want to make it public, I don't make it public. Simple as that.

I still think it's useless. You don't have to share my opinion, of course.

Yea but that's most likely because you don't really see the whole thing. A underground is, in this case, a group of persons who are either very skilled in gamehacking or possess extremely high knowledge about a game and its mechanisms. On their own, they are already able to develop cheats, bot and stuff in a way, that is probably new to the scene. Yet being in a group where everyone is able to do that, you can achieve bigger goals in much less time.
Another point is: If you stumble across an exploit that nobody has yet found and you take it to your grave, how can there be progress in the field of gamehacking? However, if you decide to publish what you found, others may be able to either use what you found or e.g. learn from your code (everyone has a unique style to get things done). And that's what "sharing is caring" means. You'd probably understand these things better if you were really into gamehacking.

Well I do develope software by myself, and there's not much time for gamehacking. I see you've got some points, and I think you might be right about the thoughts for some people. But still, I would either share, or keep it a secret.
