Preasyboard - Your Private Server Dashboard

Hi everyone!
I'm here to present you a first version of
, a project born at first as a standalone product in , and a few months ago it revolutionized itself in a SaaS platform for the creation of gaming Dashboards for private servers based on WingsEmu (coming soon OpenNos).
I would like to premise everyone a couple of things:
- I'm not here to brag that I did the best job in the world
- I took advantage of my job position to learn and improve in the use of some technologies
- I've always been a Nostale player but I stopped when I realized that playing it wouldn't let me learn as much as working on it to make it easier to play. (Sorry for the word pun)
- What I am looking for are feedbacks: positive or negative does not matter, as long as there is respect.
I already said enough, now it will be time to talk about Preasyboard!
Where does Preasyboard come from?
As mentioned before, Preasyboard is the evolution of nosweb-app, done with more care and with the search for professionalism.
What is Preasyboard?
Preasyboard is a platform that aims to facilitate and in some cases eliminate all that part concerning the "touching the database". Whether you want to play with a few friends or you want to create the new best private server it doesn't matter, there will be a solution for you!
How does it work?
Given that the current Preasyboard worflow is quite raw and perhaps not too gracefully, it is easy and involves few steps:[LIST]
- Create an account
- Choose a plan
- Create a "Connection"
- Install our API on your server
- Create the Dashboard by choosing a subdomain
- Share the link
But so? Where do I manage everything related to the game?
Here the "magic" happens. Once the Dashboard has been created, it will be accessible via a custom subdomain (free in all plans), for example bestserver.preasyboard.com.
An admin Player will be automatically created with which it will then be possible to start setting the various parts related to the game: Item Shop, Fortune Wheel, Ban, Coins etc ...
I don't like having the name preasyboard.com even if the subdomain is customized….
I'm sorry to hear you say this, consider that it is a very common practice in the world of SaaS. But don't despair, you will still have the possibility to use your own domain! Let's say thanks to Cloudflare for this!
So how do I connect to my server?
Resolving the problems of the multidatabase connection was difficult, and even if it hadn't been, it wouldn't have been nice to ask you to enter your data such as username, password and database ip. For this reason we have decided to interface with emulators via API (WingsEmu at the moment).
What you will need to do is:
- Download our public APIs and integrate them with your emulator
- Save the key generated by the Dashboard to file
I don't trust ... what if the data were not encrypted?
When it comes to security, you certainly can't go thin, we decided to rely on Cloudflare for SSL certificates and authentication via JWT for APIs.
Sure, how to say ... If you have a bunker with a secret code but you don't keep the code secret, it is certainly not the fault of the builder of the bunker!
Ok everything nice but why can't I sign up?
The first thing I would like to avoid is releasing a project that is considered complete and receiving a shower of insults because it doesn't work ...
Seriously, I really care about this project but the thing I care the most is to create a product that satisfies people, for this reason I will soon start selecting people for a Beta period! At the end of this period, if all goes well, there will be the definitive opening.
Unfortunately, however, I cannot give you an indication of when the Beta will start nor of when the official opening will be, I hope you can understand this.
We understand you, it's a big project ... But why did I get the impression that Preasyboard isn't free?
Because it is not.
Preasyboard will have a monthly cost, depending on what you need for your server there will be a different plan.
It would be wonderful to leave the project completely free but this would increase the costs exponentially, which are already not so negligible ...
There will probably still be a free basic plan with some of Preasyboard's features
So do I have to "hope" to enter the Beta and do I even have to pay?
NO!
The Beta will obviously be “kindly” offered out of our pocket precisely because it will be a two-way work: the Beta testers helps us to understand features’s problems and we improve them. For each Beta Tester there will be certainly a "Bonus" at the time of the official opening but we cannot yet predict its value due to multiple factors
