Which IPs do Nostale GMs/Crew see when checking players?
Title.
I was wondering which IP a Nostale Crew member can see and check. How does it work? Which information can they access when checking a player? Current IP for sure. How about previous IPs? How about characters asociated with the current or previous IP?
I have been struggling with this question for a while now and I am not even close to understanding how it really works. Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you guys in advance
EDIT: also something that interests me:
In how far can Nostale GMs/Crew see in which way characters and accounts are connected?
For example, can they see if accounts(characters) have traded with each other?
Can they see if Acc 1 has bought items from Acc 2 on the bazar?
Can they see if Acc 1 picked up items from the floor that Acc 2 dropped onto the floor?
And how far can these actions be traced back?
Imagine Acc 3 drops an item to the floor and Acc 2 picks it up and then trades it to Acc 3?
In an isolated scenario, where all accounts are used for botting only and don't interact with any other accounts except for each other, this should be easily tracable. But is it?
Feel free to discuss and share your thoughts, maybe you have some interesting questions as well.
Best Regards,

From your network interactions and packets. They can save datas they want inside a database. And select what's saved with the Sourcecode of the game. So yes, they can keep in memory and check every user datas that they want.
All your questions are relatively linked to network and database principles. You should check that

as much as i appreciate a response, this really doesn't explain or even say much. I asked what data they can see and how it's pieced together and linked, not if they can save data, or how they can save data.

On a technical case: nothing asked in this list is impossible with the current client.
On the real case it depends what they are logging so unfortunately you can’t know for sure without a admin or somebody with real sources to tell you.
Also if it was the case you couldn’t be sure it wouldn’t tomorrow.
You whole thread can be shortened into three question:
Can they log it : yes
Are they logging it : nobody knows
How long do they keep logs for : it use to be at least 6 month retention (some people were getting banned for things happening long ago) but might be even years.

They got multiple ways to check it.
Such as:
- RegisterIP
- CurrentSessionIP
there are probably more ways than this. If for example you swap accounts with your friend or girlfriend, they'll see it fast enough because the CurrentSessionIP just changed, and doesn't match with the Register/Other CurrentSessionIP.
This is the way how they'll do i think

[ about the 2nd part of the thread ]
Well, basically you are asking how to get items/gold illegally and save them on a clean char even if they ban the other accounts.
I dont think it's possible to do, unless you use different machines on different networks. And, of course, those char don't interact each other so... no, it's only a dream.

Not Bullshit at all. I said how it can be possible, but I did "metaphorically". You can have 2 machines on 2 different networks... just dont phisically.

This is actually quite intresting for me aswell. Cause you know.. I might have some accounts but I can't think of any way to do it properly without getting banned.

Used 1 Maschine so its just a matter of how you Do it and even on which Server you are. Few Servers dont even give a **** when you Do it next to a gm
