C'mon, just a web API with a POST form is enough for your need

And if you are afraid that someone decompiles your code, don't use .NET, all free obfuscators can be deobfuscated easily.

The issue is not even décompilation. You should never never never link an external Db to a desktop app. The way to do it.
Host an api on a server that can touch your db.
Call this api from the launcher
