[Opennos] Need Help

hello, after using the command update-database -Verbose everything happens as expected, when launching login / world I have this error there, I search everywhere I can not find my problem. Like when I put a packet in import console I have an error too, I leave you my discord in case of need

Problem set I add a line to my System COnfiguration file, Now when I launch World & Login it remains on the black screen to put me the error: can not connect to master server

... seems logic if you don’t start the master server... seriously before asking something here just try to understand the message... if it tell you «*hey your computer is off*» would you ask on a forum hey I don’t understand ? No you will turn it on... so if the message is can’t connect to the master server just turn on the master server...

why u want to run opennos xd ? its not stable has 15/15 bugs a lot of crash and more. opennos was much better like 6 7 months ago when u was able to run it for hours like 15 or more without crash when the good commit was published now only crashed commits ^^ but u are free to lose ur time as u want

thats cause u need to change something in opennos xd u need to open opennos.master.server and go to app.config go lane 67 where in web app url saying this <add key="WebAppURL" value="http://+:9000/" /> change for this <add key="WebAppURL" value="http://127.0.0.1:9000/" />

Just start it as admin or use à localhost ip adresse instead of + in the webapp url. Polirot if you préfère the 6month old update just use it... github allow you to use the commit version you want. But it seems you don’t even understand the concept of opennos. Opennos is not here for making a pserver but for the dev itself. But as you can see with the last version there is only a trouble with package so anyone who fix it in 5min could make a pull request but no. People préfère to be selfish. This was supposed to be a community project but after 2 years it was like we were 5 people to be not to selfish to continue opennos and that’s why I decided to stop. I clearly don’t care about pservers I don’t even have one. So you have crash ? Just start fixing them and pull request. If every server who fix things just pull request it. Opennos would be lot more useful. Because yes if you fix 1 thing your server will be better than the other but if everyone fix 1 thing and pull request it : your server will be exactly like others but far better than how it was before.

the thing i dont understand why to publish crashed comits ? i know when opennos team like 6 months ago was publishing comits every day then the team decided to publish only stable commits.. now that concept its very wrong after with (''stable'') 2 - 3 months later new comits with more crash i know u dont help another server so i think every update its coming with more crashes so that there its not a lot of more servers so people can go play noswings or nostale vendetta

opennos current commit is a 1 month old noswings. The only bug people reported on it was setup problem. 1 month ago it was already working quite fine on noswings. There is no more crash in the thing that were already done. Its only new bug in new systems. If you test the current version and the 6 old month version you will see that it far more stable now. But you right it’s a loose of time to start using opennos without any knowledge because
1) you don’t know how to fix thing
2)you will be bad opposite to server who know how to fix things
3)opennos isn’t for pserver its for development. People who have a good server running on opennos have developers (real one, professional who works in it, not some kiddies who think they are dev because one day they make an hello world by copy past).
So my advice for this kind of post is what do you really want : learn programming ? (Fine) make a pserver without any knowledge (it won’t work)

Hey there, I'm pretty sure you're wrong yeah. If you don't have any knowledge in programming, using an OpenSource project where every system is done already won't help you.

You should get some solid basis first, but don't think programming is something you will learn in 2 weeks. If there are 5+ years school for it, it's because apart from being a hobby, it can lead to a real job.

Either way @ , the OpenNos version published on Github doesn't contain major issues, only a few crashes that can be fixed in 5 minutes if you know what you're doing. And this doesn't mean this is not as stable as before.

It actually seems pretty obvious to me that the more functionalities you have, the more issues can appear.

Basicly you should read first a book.

@ is full right if you can't even read a ******* Message that's telling you all why it don't work don't use it! I mean C'mon, if for Example Blowa pull smth where only 2 people can connect to the server 90% of all Servers would not be able to fix it? And OpenNos Source is not there for being a real Private Server it is a proof of concept from the Basic ideas of the first OpenNos Team and its normally just there to learn not to earn money with it. If you want to get Money from a Real NosTale Private Server pays for the Real Source like Vendetta did or ask a Real Dev. if he can do it for you for a lot of money and trust me, you don't get a good server for 100€ . So Stop to open Bullshit threads when you can't even read and understand what the Message says or use Google for even 5min!
