Hello everyone,
the OpenMage registration is now open (the server is still in alpha).

This server is official like, but without pay2win and some annoying elements.
A detailed list of what changes have been made will be available on the future forum, but here is a short list of changes made:

-Exp rate x2 (like Nostale SE)
-Drop/Gold rates unchanged (x1)
-Fairy exp rate x100
-Inventory and drops
        .Max stack size = 255
-Spawn
        .You spawn at combat level 1 and job level 20
        .You spawn with 10k gold, a mount and 255 bazaar medals
-HP and MP stats adjusted for each class
-HP/MP regen reworked
        .Regeneration while sitting : 1% of your max HP/MP
        .Regeneration while standing : 0.4% of your max HP/MP
-Potions reworked
        .Potions healing is now % of your max HP/MP
        .Example : Medium healing potion heal for 5% of your max HP
-Damage calculation modified
        .Damage is now calculated in % of your total damage
        .If a skill says (attack +100 and element +80)
        .this skill will do 100% of your total attack damage (includes buff)
        .and 80% your total element (fairy, sp bonus and buff)
        .damage to your target
-Elements modified
        .Fire is good vs : Light and Dark, Weak vs : Water and Fire
        .Water is good vs : Fire, Weak vs : Water
        .Light is good vs : Dark, Weak vs : Dark
        .Dark is good vs : Light, Weak vs : Light
-Fairies modified
        .There are 3 fairy tiers
        .First tier has 30% when you get it, and can go up to 150%
        .Second tier has 150% when you get it, and can go up 1000%
        .Third tier has 1000% when you get it and can go up to 2500%
        .Impossible to trade fairies
-Groups modified
        .Max group size is 15 members
        .Exp is not split
-SP1-4 reworked (Basic attack, passive, Q, W, E, R)
        .Passive lasts an hour, some can be shared with others
        .Only 4 skills but they have shortened cooldowns
        .Impossible to trade sp cards or sp quest materials
-SP points and SP bonus reworked
        .Max sp level = 100
        .SP points at level 100 = 410
        .SP points at level 100+15 = 820
        .Each class gets different bonuses
-Dungeons
        .Need a group and a guild to enter
        .Mobs are harder to kill and give more exp
        .Dungeon bosses drop materials to craft equipment
-Map bosses
        .Drop equipment for every class
-Land of the Dead (LoD) changed
        .Minimum level to enter is 70
        .Portal is hidden in act5
        .Mobs are very hard to kill but give x3 exp
-Guild hall
        .Unique map for each guild
-New 5v5 Game for guilds : League of Mage (LoM)
        .Managed by a GM
        .Will replace the "rainbow war"
        .Rewards and ranking
-Upgrade system (SP and equipment) reworked
        .Every upgrade has 100% success (except betting)
        .Materials are different for each class
-Crafting
-Equipment stats modified
        .Each equipment that drops from bosses or is crafted has custom stats
        .dodge, hitrate, critical chance and critical damage are not modified
        .Swordsman : Weapon x1.5 Armor x2.5
        .Archer : Weapon x2 Armor x1.5
        .Mage : Weapon x3 Armor x1
-Simple quest system using shops
-Donators & Cosmetics
        .There is no pay to win (p2w) on this server
        .Cosmetics do not and will not give any bonus stats or buff
        .Cosmetics are donators-only (except as tournament reward)
        .This includes costumes, mounts (same speed), specialist wings
        .hair colors, hair styles, magic lamp...
        .Basically any nosmall item that does not give an advantage

I might have forgot to mention a few changes, but they are probably minor changes and are not important to mention.

This server is for players who want to play Nostale in another way while keeping its spirit.
We designed the server as how we would have liked official to be.
It is a farm to win as you should expect from a MMORPG.
Come and discover the potential this game has, it might be hard in the beginning but if you stay on the server you can have a lot of fun.

I'm not kidding, it's an official-like server.
High exp rates ruins the game, if you don't feel like playing then don't play, it's simple.

agreed the rates are low, if the rates were just that smidge bit higher not by much either, it would attract more people, atm i cant play due to lack of peeps,but hopefully changes soon.

You tooked time for your presentation & it seams like you changed some stuff on a intresting way (dont forget this is my oppinon). The Exp rate is okay for players who are intrested in spending more than 3 days to reach everything, like me.

So on.. have fun & Good luck.

Ps: You should rethink the idea to give wings for donations only.

Wings and other cosmetics have no buff, effects or stats, they are cosmetics, how is that pay to win ..?

11/03/2017 Mage update :

-Damage calculation fixed
-Level 74 secondary weapons added
-Industrial Workshop added
-All mage sp now have mana related passives :
Sp1 and Sp3 :
All skills consume a percentage of your current mana to increase your weapon damage.
Sp2 :
Attacks gives you a percentage of your max mana, your R damage is increased by (your current mana / 10000)% and consumes all your mana
Group healing now heals for 20% of your max Hp + 5% of your max mp
Sp4 :
basic attack and Q have increased critical change, your E gives you a percentage of your max mana, new skill T heals for 20% of your current mana and consume it.(édité)

12/03/2017 Sp update :

-Reputation gains changed
-Reputation icons requirments x10
-Sp upgrade system removed
-Starting from level 60, every 10 level you will get bonus sp points and wings.
-Max sp level = 150
-When transforming in specialist and gaining an sp level, messages will appear.
