NFSW Offline Crash/Freeze

If your game crashes/freezes you need Java SE 9.

1. Unintall your current Java if you have any.
2. Go to >
3. Go to the section > Java SE Runtime Environment 9.0.4 and download .exe thing.

Now your game should run nicely.

i dont have time at all to try find the issue here...but all i have is that nfs world has something to do with AMD cpu's. it just doesnt want to work..
i also noticed that the game starts just fine if the game is minimized....but once u maximize the game...it will fail/crash (maybe this rings a bell...)

I found out why the game wont work on my ryzen 9 3900xt
i was messing around with cpu cores...i thought maybe the game needs less cores.
so instead of 12 cores i have disabled 4 cores and went to 8 cores...and guess what?

GAME WORKS hahaaa. (with java 8 151 64bit)

i did not expect this (idk if the same trick works for others when crashing, at joining free roam or something.)
but for me it totaly fixed it. (so for some reason nfsw does not like 12 cores )

i have shared this info with you guys...maybe for some of you might fix something too. good luck

o yeah...my game was crashing at boot logo (when the game starts loading) that was my issue.

from the BIOS settings, cant help much with that since everyone has his own motherboard. mine is a MSI MPG B550 carbon wifi.
if u have by any chance same motherboard...let me know. il make some instructions when i got some time.

Is there no way to do this from Windows? I don't know much about operating the BIOS settings.

if you do some research on google/youtube, you can find a way for your own motherboard..

hey speedy dan, do you have a link for the latest version of nfs world? soapbox race world offline torrent 1.9.3? anything?, or just the latest or the best version of it. do you knoe the one with the server config ?

i don't have 1.9.3 (this is the java server/launcher version) the server should be on those elitepvpers forum posts somewhere
i actually use 1.9.0 (never used 1.9.3)

If i get lucky enough after i lost all the nfsw files once(i mean everything)
i might still have the 1.9.0 launcher and some www folders that might make the game work again...

if you already have 2015 client (witch some might call soapbox or something like that...) you only need the java server/launcher 1.9.3or other version like 1.9.0 (i still use 1.9.0) and the data base folder (called www that contains pretty much everything).
with those you should be fine playing offline..(if the client is stock/not used for online play)

to be honest i haven't found a clean 2015 before.. (haven't done a deep search for it since i used to play Beta more than 2015.(i call it 2015 because that is the actual version that everyone plays online/soapbox or offline.

once i had an wierd issue when i tried to play online (their launcher did some kind of mod updates) and because of that...the client never worked offline anymore. (the client files was completely busted) obviously there was some files changed and prevented me from playing offline...and in other words...i needed a new clean client in order to play offline...(it was like...either play offline or online...so you cant have both..)but it was possible before to do both...not sure if it still works now...i haven't played nfsw in few years, so i don't know anything anymore about online.

slowly...im still trying to re-upload the files i had including launchers.
the time is not on my side either...so..when i get some free time il try to look for files and re-upload them when i have more patience too.

let me take a look at what i have and il try to upload client files on my other post and il put some server files there too.(just noticed that i dont have the launcher for 2015 in there.)

I have uploaded 2015 client...or a version that i used long ago hope this will do.
you can find it on my post with "Multiple stock versions" including/separated the launcher for it 1.9.0 but i did not add the database since it has my files on it
but if u had a launcher for 2015 that works offline...try use that www folder with this launcher you get from my post and see if it works...rn i dont have a clean database for public users.(for 2015 version) try downloading them.(remember...i only uploaded the launcher but without the database...so your client it wont work without a database.
Maybe later il make a db for 2015 so i can put them together as one complete launcher.

i remember i got 1 off the oceans of game once upon a time and it came with a server editor with was fire to me and when i went to get it back it had been reuploaded with virus and now am sad

I have a solution!

Download Process Lasso from

Open CPU > Options > CPU > CPU Affinities, and set "nfsw*" to run on 0-3 cores. This worked it out for me.

Talking about the freezing on the loading screen, I think it's due to Windows... I was playing normally until a few days ago on Windows 10 PRO, but recently I bought another notebook that came with Windows 11 HOME installed and I went through having this problem of freezing on the loading screen, maybe it's something that the Windows PRO version allows and HOME doesn't, whether it's running a local server or something like that, because Nightriders' NFSW works normally but it's online.

Carrying out some tests, I discovered that if we press ALT + TAB, quickly before the game starts, it runs in the background, it is possible to hear the background sound, but when trying to open the game it closes, I think the problem is in the rendering of the image

the actual problem is that nfs world does not work with newer cpu's...you need to have maximum an 8 core cpu...to me the game begun working when i have disabled 4 extra cores and used only 8 cores instead of 12...this fixed for me..
basicaly...nfsw with higher cpu with 8 cores..it will crash at bootscreen.
but it loads if u alt+tab the game right before it starts loading.

also for anfinity...wont work either...the cpu needs to be 8 cores before the game starts...
