It is totally free for everyone already. All performance related stuff are for IGC. Only stuff that are only visual will be for boost. If you're calling me greedy, I have no idea what to say to you.

actually i had a second tought and u are right , u worked allot for this, i retreat all that i said earlier, sorry about that.btw will you add some devs/admins from the comunity ?

As for the devs part, I need people that can create a http1.1/xmpp request handler in C/C++. I tried Delphi but I could only do HTTP1.1.

How can you be sure this will work out and EA won't hunt your *** down? The second you start talking about some way of sb selling to maintain the server it's like fresh meat for EA's lawyers...

I have strong proofs that a guy named Vitaleks straight-off stole my server and started selling it for 2.5$, so I'll stop supporting the offline server.

I can't speak on exactly how it will be done for legal reasons, but I don't think they will contact me at all.

Don't forget it's not just any game, it's in the bookshelf of famous Need for Speed series, so EA would seriously love to be the only one to control anything related to it. They made a torrent disappear already, so they don't like the client to be around for 'new' players after the servers went offline. So who says they won't make any servers disappear to which those clients can connect?
I think there should be no central server if nfsw has to survive. Implement torrent-like stuff, make serverlauncher have contact with some peers to tell other clients where offline servers are enabled to host games. I'm thinking of ancient games like MOH-Spearhead where you had a window with active servers hosted by other players and you could join a match or host your own server. Users with good internet would typically be hosting and if you live close to them on the planet it would be with very little lag most of the time.

Unless it's thepiratebay or similar really good sites that only keep magnet data and nothing else taking down torrents is too easy. Just mail them saying "here are my lawyers, take it down."
No further discussion is required on this topic.

so i guess everything is clear now.so if the server will be online the NFSW file we download(through launcher) will be from a magnettorrent?that way nobody will suffer by any law besides the torrentsite

Can't pay for what can't stay; just me thinking! Understand EA owns the NFSW game and absolutely no one can profit from it! But there has to be another model that allows us to pay for services used without infringing on EAs rights! We need some legal smarts helping us solve this question. I would love to support an online version of NFSW, but it has to be legally responsible. I've said way too much, sorry for my sloppy way of stating our problem! Hoping all works in our favor!

Fotune bag glitch after moving server

I moved my server to windows 2008, it had some problems but I overcame that and it all works perfectly now. But I just noticed that fortune bags dont work anymore for some wierd reason... it wont open them says its restricted and they worked perfectly before. They still 42 special and 69 variant and I did move the itemcreate.ini too Soo I really dont see why it stopped working
