yep, and for example with Construction RT, it's every man for himself to make it through the first shortcut, completely logical that ramming will occur.

Since I read said persons question to Berkay and no clue why he even asked, when they plan to do it regardless, his whole explanation clearly proves that, I am confident to say that those guys will ruin the game and have zero concerns of that and only care about themselves.

Man this whole thing that came to light, really pisses me off that they will be in game, ruining all the active race events and believe they have the right to do that.
I forgot all about them until now.

I personally hope Berkay just drops the whole online project, because said people have nothing in mind but to dominate and ruin the experience of others, making the whole project useless.
Such jerks will take something that Berkay is giving back to the public, to then completely ruin it for everyone else and as others have said, they not only deserve banned, but am azz kicking IRL.
Such self centered bullies that have no clue of the damage they "game play" will do to the upcoming online version and again, berkay should just drop the whole project, if this is what we have to look forward to.

Im supporting the server and most of my team is aswell.. Berkay did alot of work into this mp server and we're only coming back for the enjoyment and excitement of ramming..if you can't handle it , you have issues...Im sorry, raging over a game is stupid . If it's such a big deal...

Yeah we will see. Every NFS game in its series is a street racing game, where ramming IS allowed. As said several times, if you can't handle it. Leave lobby. Not leave and quit the game, just simply switch to another lobby

Also, although we we're the biggest ram crew in NFSWorld, we aren't the only ram crew being there. There are 3-4 other ram crews joining the offline server so don't expect every rammer to be a United King Rammer member, or leader (me)..I know several teams that ram just as much as we do. I don't want to reply cause it's unproductive. (and considering how everyone is doing this ON THEIR OWN TIME, you should be thankful. I'm thankful I even get to keep my garage)

NFSW is based on street racing, not bumper cars.
(There are also certain ettiquettes in a multiplayer race compared to private race)

Accidents may happen in shortcuts or in the turns/passing, and we can deal with it. (As unintentional accidents happen in real life too, but with good skills it could even be negligible, provided NFSW doesn't have a good "damage" system)

Now with the PUs it's the mentality of a team spirit. With the nature of MP you're matched with random dou-- erm "fellow racers".

A multiplayer race, everyone's about being first. (also translated into the shortest track time).

It's good spirit to use juggernaut to clear debris for other racers, or get acceleration on the straights (provided there isn't anyone near you might mistakenly take down, and good driver communication)

It's bad spirit to desperately ram people just to win. (and jam their PU consoles)

It's completely inappropriate to have a team that's all about ramming (aka "intentionally harassing") people who are struggling to finish first.

If it's an individual doing revenge ramming. (for say an unintentional accident), it's a grey zone.
Usually I'll try to stay on my racing line. And let it slide.
But most people who do alot of racing know various sections of track that are prone to unintentional accidents.

If the game sees you as a best fit for the same lobby, when you requeue during the 50 seconds before the lobby is locked, you end up in the same lobby.
If you try and wait it out, then do racing, the way the game shuffles people around lobbies, you will end up in the same lobby as the person you'll try to avoid.

(hence why I want options for opponent preferences, but these things never happen)
