I don't know what you mean. I already have the offline version installed.

FYI, I have played the offline version several times. All of a sudden it decides that instead of going past the loading screen, it should spin that little circle forever (until I close it with Task manager). Sometimes, I have waited for it to go past the loading screen for as much as ten minutes. This is NOT a problem with installing; it is a problem with running.

I see only two way of start problem - you do something with game client and all crash, or crashed your driver profile. ServerEditor run normally?

Well, incase you did the other steps incorrectly, here is what I did.

1: Updated Java

2: Installed Python 2.7 from

3: Downloaded Powershell from

4: Restarted my computer

5: Installed EZ_Python from instead of through Powershell because Powershell wouldn't do it

6: Installed mitmproxy from instead of running the command, "[Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("Path", "$env:Path;C:\Python27\;C:\Python27\Scripts\", "User")" (without the uttermost outside quotes) in Powerhshell because Powershell wouldn't do it

7: Opened Powershell and typed, "pip install mitmproxy" (without the quotations)

8: Ran World by launching 0-host and the launcher

Note: If you have successfully done some steps such as installing Python 2.7, EZ_Python, or mitmproxy, there is no need to repeat those steps. This is just a better restatement of instructions.

ServerEditor runs normally. Last time I exited the game, it didn't crash.

For those of you who are getting the dreaded
.net "unhandled exception" error I may have the answer to solve it for some of you. well it helped me.
(forgive me if this has been given, but I have trawled and searched this thread for the past few days and never saw it)

In Berkay's server files there is a "settings.ini"
open it with notepad
in my case the "nfsw.exe" path was wrong in it, as I didn't default install EA's game,

To correct the error, find where YOUR nfsw.exe is (right click on the normal gamelaucher icon) to "find target" or "open containing folder"
REMEMBER you want "nfsw.exe" not the launcher, in my case it was in the "Data" folder where explorer opens.
Take note of the path (right click PROPERTIES in the "general" tab)
copy the path and then paste in Berkay's setting.ini (remember to include the last bit "\nfsw.exe"
So in MY case I pasted C:\Games\EA GAMES\Need For Speed World\Data\nfsw.exe into the settings.ini file, saved the change and ran the server, no .NET errors any more *happy dance*
Now all works, hope it helps someone

My game run normally, and after start with ServerLaumcher (only start, i`m not do anything) tell this. What tell your cmd? make screen like my after not responding

ya it says on the server launcher the mitmproxy is not found
