You need to have the game (you can download the files if you don t have the files of the game) and then search for the nfsw.exe. Sorry for my bad english

Download the original game exe file from the link provided and you will find nfsw.exe in the program files x86/NFS World Offline/Need For Speed World/

You have to add rand.exe as an antivirus exclusion, or else AVG will delete the file.

Hello guys! I'm having a quite small issue, I cannot open the paint shop, it gets stuck in an infinite download. (the irony)

Will reinstalling the game files fix it, or is it another issue?

Open file www/nfsw/Engine.svc/DriverPersona/GetPersonaInfo_100/200/300.xml (depends on which persona cannot get into paint shop) and turn

<PersonaId>***</PersonaId>

into

<PersonaId>100/200/300</PersonaId>

(depends on which GetpersonaInfo.xml that you're editing)

oh man, so many pages. i can´t read this all.
i want to play the game in german. change language was only in launcher possible. so i found the files: C:\Games\NFSW\Need For Speed World\Need For Speed World\Data\LANGUAGES and renamed the german file to english and all written is in german now.
but the cops speech already in english and i found this files: C:\Games\NFSW\Need For Speed World\Need For Speed World\Data\Sound\Speech. but there is no german file to rename. can anybody upload the german files please?

..or you could just change the language in the settings file.

For this error, just delete "settings.ini" in server directory, and run server again. server seeks "nfs.exe", it is an game exe from data folder, it is usually located under application data (hidden folder, you need to show hiden files in file manager). You are safe to take that whole NFSdata folder away to the games folder you use, and then select it, I use custom folder from the start of NFSW back in 2010-2011.

Berkay, take note of this post by poofyoudead, I had same problem on 1.8u2 i think, and it might be a bug. What happened, I've chosen all .exe etc., imported profile, run a server, played few races, exit server, re-lunch and this error occured, evena fter reboot, error was still present, I opened "settings.ini", and path to game was blank, i just deleted file and restarted server (didn't type the path manually), and it worked well after that.

Do you have the folders? I had NFS Wold on my previous laptop, but not my current one. (every time i go to open offlineserver.exe, it gives me the registry error.)
