Introduction
They, even me, said it was impossible. Well, it turns out that it's possible and it can be done. Please welcome the first public offline server for NFS: World.

About
It's a pretty straight-forward tool but since it's in beta it requires many dependencies. These include: Java, Python2, Mitmproxy, Windows. We try our best to bring you the best experience but remember that it will take time. Also, tool is open-source and even has the source within the archive, so no viruses or anything like that.

How to use
Read the "readme.html" in the archive. It tells you everything you need to know. Make sure you do not change the path of the python installer. It has to be in C:\Python27.

Personas
I download personas that are requested from me on my free time. I no longer do this. The ones I d/led were uploaded to .
Exchange them from ServerEditor.exe using the "Import".

Bugs

• Can't do Team Escapes(no SP data on server)
• Can't do some drags SP(no SP data on server)
• Can do pursuits but can't finish them. Doing so will crash the game. The reason for that is this magnificent piece of junk called Java.
• Can't process anything related to basket data, for now. Reason being we didn't code it yet.
• Can change cars but going to safehouse again after changing cars will reset the car back to the default one.
• Races give no rewards.(You have unlimited IGC & Boost anyways)
• Can do TH but no rewards will be given when finished.
• Can't sell cars.

Todo

• Fix bugs(duh).
• Create a tool that will allow players to change driver name, level, exp, money etc.
• Create a tool that will allow players to exchange persona data with ease.(You have to do it manually for now)
• Hopefully, get enough data to be able to create a UDP private server. donezo.

• Recompiled, removed Locale.setDefault and moved it to command line. (This could be the reason for all of the Out of Memory stuff)
• ServerEditor will now close the server when nfsw.exe is closed.
• Re-added file modification support, just make sure you follow the formats of the files, please.
• Hell if I know what's the problem, just try this version too and let me know.

• Couldn't add the UDP classes from Nilzao's release as I just didn't have the time for it. They will be added no worries.

• Code is optimized from ground-up.

• Source updated to v1.2.0, for people that want to debug EA's server.

I tried playing with this server on windows 8.1 and everytime i start the game it gives me the critical out of memory error. i have 16 gb ram but everytime i right click start world it tells me "settings.ini=gone.

You must find the car you want to delete. Every car in carslots.xml has this structure:
<OwnedCarTrans>
...
</OwnedCarTrans>
You must delete these two tags and everything in it. The hardest part is finding the car. I sometime install some ugly wheels that no other car has on the car i don't want and search for that wheel's hash in carslots.xml.

why I cant start the game using the server editor n 1.6 but I canmod the game using v1.6 and I have to mod using 1.6 and lay using 1.5, its no problem but after one day the whle game gwent back to 1.5 with those new bodykits gone and my new purchased cars disappear. I dont think I will want to make vinyl arts until everything is sorted out as the cars I modded in offline are prone to disappear and only those from my online days remain

Out of memory and/or random corruption are caused by Berkay not doing something with buffer. Wait for next server version.
