Search NFS World pursuit time with cheat engine

So I try to find out the address of the pursuit time and it seems very easy.
Start a pursuit. As time goes by, use cheat engine's speedhack and apply it to zero so the game will pause temporary.Set scan type to exact value and value type to float. Enter the time into "value" and press first scan. (make sure you convert your time into second, ex 1:05 is 65,) Switch back to normal speed x1, let the timer run for few second and pause again, recalculate the time and do the next scan...repeat those step for a few times and you will be able to find the address.

Now I get stuck because I don't know the next step to make the timer go faster to get more xp and cash. Whenver I tried to edit the value into bigger number, the timer stays normal as if there's nothing affecting it.

I have tried this too, didnt worked but tomorrow i will try again.. I also tried to change "Cost to state" but it didnt work too :/

erm... so, there is a kind of that: 1:05.76 so there are not only minutes and seconds. what to do with that? or it is not so importaint?

Yep ignore whatever comes after the second, so in your case 1:05.76 will be written as 65.

Just wondering if anyone knows cheat engine well can help us out with the timer...

@slo what you're looking for is a good reverser, not a person that knows CE well.

CE can give you the value, but from there it's best to use either IDA or ollydbg to debug the value and see and analyze the function that relates to it.

maybe somebody can speed only part of game (pursuit time) ?

in the older cheat engine it had a frozen or freeze option to freeze the value, try getting an older one like 5.1 or below (i used the freeze on balloons tower defense and it worked great).

This is my theory, when you type the number in ex. 65 it finds that value and you attempt to change it, but the number go away to quick or you need to find a way to add the seconds.

its a suggestion let me know if im wrong.

you can froze with new ce just speed hack set 0.0001
