about m2bob 1.7.6

Well, as you know , the first versions of m2bob was free including v1.7.6,
i still have that version on my computer, and i think that the ONLY thing that stop me from using it is that it check the website to see if there is more updates or not,...
my question : what if we Reverse Engineer it and CUT the link between the website and the m2bob 1.7.6, i think that we will lunch it normally and use it,, or am i wrong ?

so and now, m2bob 1.7.6 is OUTDATED and do not work on all systems. and its not so easy to "crack" m2bob..

is it enough to cut the link between m2bob 1.7.6 and the website ? so he won't check if it is outdated or not ? i think we can Reverse it
