Project with level max 55 (think and opinion)
A server focused on 55 levels, would you like it completely newstyle, with new set, oldschool with old set, or middle school with new set but old monsters?
The question is:
Completely newschool with new map armour ecc..
Or official (old-middle) armour/sword/maps ecc... with new skin costumes ecc..?

I was working on a similar project in back in 2015
- Level max 40
- only map1, map2, the ape' caves and the orc valley (all maps having special or "exclusive" drops, even from map1 monsters).
- using only original metin2 items and equipment and monsters, but with different use and stats or level req.
- no more yang but instead a sort of "currencies" similar to a famous game (path of exile)
- enchant maximum to +5, it never fails to increase upgrade but instead is extremely expensive and requiring lot of materials aka upgrade items, (for example: you will need a lot of time to farm the requirement for the +4, but you're sure that it will be +4)
and lot of many other little changes.
Never made this online just played with a couple friends on lan it was quite fun to pvp at lv40

There was 3-4 servers in Turkey that I remember 1-55 concept based on 1-120 weapons, eq., dungeons, maps and so on, it was okay for me. 1 diff is players can rise only 3 of their skills so it needs to be a wise choice.
At global arena there are lots of new school lovers maybe we will see a project, with its own concept not like a 1-120 server.

I thought of making sure that all the skills g or P can be obtained through a different mechanism of the books, for example book give m1 skill directly with % of upgrade.
So you prefer this project with newschool with new maps/armours/ecc.. or you prefer a classic oldschool/metin2 with different gameplay and system?

As 1-55 concept, new books or requirements to get all skills to the perfect level sounds cool for me for example new dungeons can be use for it. Players can drop x, y, z materials to craft an item which make their skills to g1 and then use soul stones to upgrade them to perfect.
At game design part I do not recommend to use classic metin2 1-120 maps. Create new ones. I guess many players are bored to make exact samethings at game.
Just check celestial-world 2.0 and other new school servers to find relevent stuff for 1-55 concept. Maybe you can add perma costumes which can be upgraded to +20 and so on, rather than dragon soul system give this stats via spirit stones and runes. Make something new, remember the old rubinum s1 and s2; they added so many useful stuff that other servers dont have; now every server got better systems and rubinum died.
Be original and community will support you.

old weapons and armors can be used but just use 48-54 lv ones at max, do not make high level weapons and armors to 54-55 lv. for example you can use 30 lv weapons as 75 lv weapons in 1-120 servers(change its attack values), and add average and skill damage to 20 lv weapons like 30 lv weapons in normal servers.
for pvm stuff you can change the bonuses of old bracelets, necks, boots...

Okay so..adapt the sword lv75 and classic armour and put new estetical skinn/costums?
For example FMS is for lv20 and it upgrade is lv45 = lv75 sword
And for the monsters??? New monsters or the metin2 monsters?
