How to set a private server on bsd 8

Hello , anyone willing to help me step by step how to set up a private mt2 server on external bsd version 8 ?

1.any links for good server files?
2.where to add server and db files?
3.what commands i need on bsd?
4.how to check if server is up and connect to it ?

i have found a lot of guides out there but all sayin for virtual pc and hamachi...and i have payed for a bsd server hosting .
