Problem with shadows object

Hi!

My problem concernsing shadow of object:

Is it possible to remove the shadow from a particular object?
I mean, i've got a grass in spt format and i would like to remove his shadow.

If this is possible, what programm should i use to do that? I tried SpeedTree CAD, but it doesn;t help me.

It's not possible.

The trick is to finish the map first without grass, calculate shadows, and THEN place the grass.

Grass + shadows = horrible

What you mean in "calculate shadows"? Reduce shadow level?

When you press insert in WE, the shadows for the area where you are standing are recalculated.

Tell me, when i adds a new tree object - can I change her access path? For example, script read compioitemaps.dss and i want to read curculu.dss. Where can i do that?
