Yeah, if this is true, then he deserved to be banned. Us staff represent elitepvpers, and if staff is scamming people, what does that say about the elitepvpers staff?

I'm not sure, but I'm going to assume it was because he was scamming people.
There were alot of complaints about him scamming, so I'm just assuming.
