Why is it so hard to buy stuff on here?

Hello,

I'm new to elitepvp and I'm trying to buy a csgo knife, but evertime when I'm talking to someone, they don't want to use a middleman.

Can someone explain me why that is? Do middlemen have a bad reputation or something I dont get it? My friend told me to always use a middleman in transactions, but no one seems to be willing to use them? :/

I personally don't use a lot of Middlemen since I have bad experience with it, 2 very trusted middlemen here has a reputation of scamming despite having 500 tbms, that's pretty much it, also I got one of the most trusted persons on the forum banned for trying to pull a scam.

Also I have a lot of reputation myself, so I don't see why a middleman would be needed.

Thanks for your reply, how should I be doing this then? I'm new to the site myself, so no one will trust me in the first place, but I dont want to get scammed either and lose out on money because the seller pretty much always wants me to go first?

Try to start with little things maybe.. And Trade with very trusted People. If they have 500 tbms + u can definetly trust them and go first. Try to trade as much as u can then u'll be at 100 after some time and u wont have go first to some people anymore.

From my old experience of the past years I've only come across Scammers..
When I was new on this forum, I didn't knew about that TBM and "Request a trade" thing..
I got scammed by a Middleman, who I trusted with some PSC'S...

Sadly you have no opportunity here to do ANYTHING, if you don't have premium.. You'll get scammed thats it..

So never (!)... I repeat.. NEVER trade with a user who has too less TBM's and wants to trade without MM..

Well as some people said, you should look for how many tbms people have, 200+ is someone you can trust, also like 1.5k+ post, also new users tend to scam, so check reg date aswell.

Only use MM´s that are ID verifyed and never go first even if the other one got 1000000/0/0 TBM´s (only if they allow to trade via request a trade and have 500+0/0/))
