I've already said its MCBS. And plus, archivers don't NEED MCBS/UNICODE support to uncompress it. It's a bitstream. An ASCII Password of 0x52 0x82 0x23 0x14, 0x00, 0x52 would be a valid UNICODE and a valid MCBS password. The archiver couldn't care less.

Next time you post, use your brain. And do some research to not say wrong stuff. I entered the password as the ASCII equiv, and it accepted it.

Encoding makes the bytes mean something to the end user (aka us humans). The computer couldn't care less.

The password can be read in 2 different ways, as you well know. But, NOT ALL archivers will support both ways.
Example: 7-zip won't run the password based on MBCS, it'll only take a SHIFT_JIS encoded line.

Now, you might say, "Oh, you didn't clarify yourself." Really now? Oh, I'm sure I didn't mention the word [U]vague[U]. Anyways, I just gave my helping hint. =\

okay guys... this thread has gone beyond pointless... There is a password free version of mabipake STICKY'd in this very forum and I think it is even a more current version than 125. someone correct me if I am wrong in saying that. so if mabipake is even the slightest bit useful to you then you will have it by getting the archive in the sticky thread and using it -.-

Actually, it is the old one. All old ones are patched now.
1.25 (and beyond) are the only working ones. People who are asking for it now probably have a way to use it.

More people use it = the faster it gets patched.

There's an edit button for a reason... and another thing if you want a bypass you are going to have to make one... I can tell you if you know c++ and can find addresses I MIGHT just MIGHT provide you with an unpacked EhSvc.dll providing you give me a copy of your working bypass...
