You guys focus too much on stuff that is serversided for sure.
Do you seriously think Nexon/DevCat are THAT dumb and release the game where chances are that some Hackers manage things like that just by Packet Editing?
No, simply no.
Just by Packet Editing, you wont be able to do Critical Hits, LevelUps (  ), and stuff like that.
Focus on minor things, such as Rawks Teleporting-Hacks.

pfff are you doubting the lazyness and shear dumbness of nexon???
come on now look at was all client sided to start in na exp pots dye amps was also enchanting blacksmithing burning
also dmg use to be able to be modifed by packet editing ever see soemone do 8k dmg befor caps was removed hehe

a rank 1 crit with rank 1 smash, rank 1 combat mastery and 500 str (its possible) with a gargoyle sword can get 8k damage too...
yes, nexon is lazy

Well, being as Nexon really doesn't do alot of the development for the game, devCAT does, it really doesn't matter what Nexon is. The team at devCAT put a lot of love and effort into the game, I do not think that they would have the oversight to leave things like that to screw up the game for the players.

[Ideas] Packet Editing
My current idea that i'm trying to work on, is 0% refining, Since it's possible for 100% weaving, why isn't there 0% refining? I've recorded a successful refine and a failed refine, but i'm not sure how to tell which packets I have are it.
I'm trying to single it down atm
Edit:
Mythril Success packet, is 65 bytes, I'm trying to get a fail again with my packets filtered, but apparently with 65% success I can't -.- I may just use copper plates as a test

Autofail refine is useful. I'm assuming it's server-sided to determine how many mats you get back from a failed refine? I may spend some time poking at this myself.

Yeah I have a feeling this may be a skill.dll edit, and I will do it. I've spent 6m into refine JUST to get it to 2. and the greedy *** bots that sell it keep doubling the price in some mass monopoly to force us to buy it. It's at the point, i'd rather spend my time making something for 70 more fails, than just try to tough it out.

oh I may have editted it out by accident with all those fixes, but all 3 refines had the exact same packet code, with no change, in 3 tries. I assume fail is the same.. but I can't fail 3 times for the life of me to test anyways. I'm just going to start dll editting as soon as I use up all my owl event multicliented mules.
Off topic edit: I think the bots lurk these forums, seriously. I checked the shops today and lol'd, every bot dropped their mythril prices 2 fold.

Well I'd just like to know what people like better packet or csv editing? I'll be the first to post a opinion, its easy to edit csv's if u got the already edited ones like I do, but like it was said in other threads, less lag and less dc's if u edit the packet file......
It's simple to edit csv's tho and make it work for the game, and its alot easier to read considering its seperated by line but some people can't seem to get it to work like how they were told!! so for them packet editing...

hey im new to this forum but i have been looking around for a while on ways to hack 2moons and most sites say to use a UCE or something now thats all good and dandy but its only client sided so in that aspect teleporting would work and such and possibly making random items appear on the ground but other than that not too much. what i am wondering about it packet editing, i think it would work but ive tried to do it and have no clue what im doing so if anyone could possibly help out with this...

If this is true can you edit the exp value, if you inflate the value surely this will increase lvling speed.
