@Zakurai: I think the kernel32.dll error was from having the incorrect version of MNG, try downloading the other windows version of MNG (there are only 2 versions - Pre-Windows 7, Windows 7, just get both and try)

Data folder mods (basically just visual mods)
What you need: Unofficial Tiara r80, DATA Packer (any version should work, but I think the one everyone uses is version 1.3), WinRAR.
Method:
1. Download Unofficial Tiara to a folder you can find
2. Install WinRAR
(If Unofficial Tiara is a installer, install it, but DON'T USE FULL INSTALLATION, tick every box except having a modified ESL.dll because it gives some people a hackshield error. Install to your main Mabinogi folder (default is C:\Nexon\Mabinogi) Using the installer means skip to step 5)
3. Right-click the file you downloaded for Unofficial Tiara, and then press Extract Here
4. Copy OR Cut the extracted files into your main Mabinogi folder, which is where all your .dll's, .exe's are. (The default path to this folder is C:\Nexon\Mabinogi)
5. Download DATA Packer
6. (If it is compressed, extract it) Copy OR Cut the files from DATA Packer into your main Mabinogi folder
7. Right-click DATA packer(.exe) and press "Run as Administrator" (Press OK)
8. After the image of the character on the beach disappears, press "Find".
9. Click "OK" to close the pop-up box
10. Click "Modify"
11. Click "OK" to close the pop-up box
12. Close DATA packer
13. Play Mabinogi

.dll mods (CP view, Race name coloring when pressing ALT, target mimics, no dungeon fog, minute clock, party board to advertisement board, self right-click, change same channel, infinite party-open time, daylight customising, true durability, item price, item color code, chat to unequipped Spirit Weapons by pressing "/", elf lag fix)
What you need: MNG
Method:
1. Download MNG (consists of 3 files - dbghelp, dbghelp.orig, MNG) to a place you will remember
2. Double-click MNG.
3. Change all the "=0" to "=1" unless it says there are multiple options. Then use the instructions for each option to customise your choice. If you know what each function does, you can choose whether or not to change "=0" to "=1".
4. Save it (or press CTRL+S)
5. Close MNG
6. Copy OR Cut all 3 files (dbghelp, dbghelp.orig, MNG) into your main Mabinogi folder (default is C:\Nexon\Mabinogi). "Copy and Replace" if it asks.
7. Play Mabinogi

Whenever I hit "Find", I get a pop up that has a sentence of gibberish and has a button bellow with "Ok". No list appeared? What did I do wrong

I forgot the fix for that, but just some small checks you should do:
1. Is the data folder in your Mabinogi folder?
2. Is the data folder the newest UO Tiara? (r82) (or was it r81? forgot)
3. Is DATA Packer.exe in Mabinogi folder?
4. Did you run the Data Packer as Administrator? (even if you're administrator, you still need to right-click -> run as administrator)

If those were all checked and were correct, wait for someone like tbstewa, adam j, Penguin Eater to help.

I'm sorry if you didn't get it, but that was instructions for getting data folder ONLY, which means no patchers to activate data folder. Which means...you guessed it...Data Packer!

Well, not true, I used it once, just before Spr33 made his patcher, as I recall.

I had no issues though, and that was what.. 2+ years ago?
Probably just a case of checking file/path names.
