At least you gave them a start where to look, though, I don't know if anyone has sense enough to find them.

I started a monitoring service for checking the client version of all mabinogi server.(public page is  .)
It seems like JP server finally enabled HackShield since several hours ago, but currently still only NA server got a packed game client.
Does anyone think it's possible to apply to other servers just like NA?

NA may have no choice but to remove Themida anyway, it's causing way too many issues in game and doesn't even prevent mabipake from being used.
They could patch mabipake completely with other methods, though.
Also to note, NA maybe the worst to patch things anyway, just look at how they fix things

I would assume that the encryption is just a stop-gap method of denying most people access to pake, whilst Nexon blackrobes all of the player ba- I mean, whilst they work out a better solution to stop pake.
Or they're currently having a meeting that sounds a lot like this:
But, if they apply the same update to Japan, wouldn't pake 1.30 just be posted, ruining their efforts?

just gonna put this out there. devcat gives na the patches.
from my understanding. devcat does a hack job with patches to begin with and nexon NA tries to fill in the blanks as best as they can.

unpacked client vs packed client. Performance wise.

Is it just me? Because I find packed client loads faster and doesn't stutter ingame. When I use difference client which has unpacked data it sometimes stutters in game. It seems it has some troubles reading the entire data folder. Unlike with the packed client, these issue does not happened.
Anyone can explain?

Unpacked 4.7.4 Client

This is my first attempt at unpacking anything, much thanks to the various tidbits of information around this forum that made it possible.
This client is a pure unadulterated 4.7.4 EXE with imports and segments fixed. I am getting into 2Moons from the perspective of creating a new emulated server, and will be following up this unpacked EXE with a tool called DekaronShark that can be used for packet sniffing and protocol analyzing.
