So far it seems like the copper coins (for the 6piece purple set) are random drops from most boss chests.
eg in Fil Gashen we have copper coins of Heart, Resolve and Hand drop during various runs. I could be wrong though, perhaps they are restricted to particular chests.
We got gold coin shoulders and helm from 16th hall, maybe they drop all over the place as well.
imo the optimal combination most people will be aiming for is radiance gear for watcher and possibly 3 gold coin+ 3radiance for pvp etc.
At least thats my plan for LM, hunter and champ.
The 6 piece purple set is basically a gimped version of the radiance set so i wont bother with it.
