Problem with L2 server

Hi all!
I have seen that many ppl have one specific problem with there L2 servers. Its when you are going to enter the game server this appear.
When you have installed and everything is working fine and the servers connecting to eachother as they should, you decide to test your new server, but no, something is wrong. You enter the game, type in your username and password and then you appear in the server selector screen. Nothing wrong so far. You can see your server and it says its online and ping is about 3 or something, and you mark the server and then press "confirm"...
Nothing happened... double clicking on the server name...
Nothing happened...
Then you exit the game and take a look at your login server CMD window.
Everything is just fine.
Then you look at the game server CMD window and there is the problem...
it says "Unknown packet: 48 on state blah blah blah lots of letters and then your username and password, for example:

WARNING Unknown packet: 48 on state CONNECTED CLIENT (and my IP)
WARNING 0000: 76 00 69 8a 99 65 01 2d 54d a.d.m.i.n...+...a.......

Something like that.
I have tried lots of different L2J installs but its always the same ****.
I have done a mistake somewhere, but I dont know where. What I know all IPs is correctly adjusted and the client is probebly finding the server but you cant log in to the game server.

Plz I have tried lots of things, shearched on forums and internet but I have not found anything that says what to do. Begining to be desperate now and I wont last longer whit this. I have quite some skills with computers but now Im stucked. Plz help!

I think you r using a new client on an old server.

U usually get it when u use CT1.5 client on a server that has CT1.0 server files.

That is why there is protocol version on the server.
Each protocol version is unique to prevent wrong client from logging in but sometime, as a server administrator i allowed most protocol revision becos I am too lazy to download a newer client and oso to make setting up the server easier.
