ok this works perfectly if it fails just make sure you have read this forum from front to back to see for usefull info. this was easy for me to do and im a noob at stuffing with loopback thingy and all

i dunno why its not workin for me, i followed the guide but wont work for my free shard.

do i have to loop back 192.168.1.12 always or my server IP ?

btw im using windows XP.

guys!!! TUESDAY is maintenance time,so Official Servers are down from 17.00 - 19.00 CET 4-6pm GMT !!! ALWAYS Remeber that

after todays Maintenance there was an update for the client. DONT update! L2Walker maybe dont work or u get caught.
How not update ???
NEVER use the Lineage.exe file to start, go to \system and start L2.exe

i renamed that lineage.exe file so i never use it by accident i suggest everyone to do it.

BTW thanx to Xeno for his tips!!!! Keep the thread clean pls...
dont ask here for L2j or freeshards its stupid to BOT on freeshards if u can level with like x1000 or even 5000 factor. Its an old question, but 90% of the freehshards avoid any botting with anti-Bot system.
The real thing is RETAIL servers, here its a pain in the *** to level. I play there and i can tell u i need 50000 Mobs to level up !!! yes 50k!!!
So thats why lot of retail players are very thankful for Xenos help!!!

AND i just checked it (2am CET wednesday) i made my retail char working (it attacked mobs after pushing start button!) with his trick after maintenance and L2Walker Version 1.92 (IG)

Installing the Microsoft Loopback Adapter
In case u dont find add new hardware under devicemanager and name of PC use this one:
1. Right-click My Computer, and then select Properties. Depending on the style of the start menu, My Computer may be located in the Start menu.
2. In the System Properties dialog box, on the Hardware tab, click Add Hardware Wizard.
3. In the Add Hardware dialog box, click Next.
4. When the "Is the hardware connected?" dialog box appears, click Yes, I have already connected the hardware, and then click Next.
5. In the Installed hardware list, click Add a new hardware device, and then click Next.
6. In the What do you want the wizard to do? list, click Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced), and then click Next.
7. In the Common hardware types list, click Network adapters, and then click Next.
8. In the Manufacturer list, click Microsoft.
9. In the Network Adapter list, click Microsoft Loopback Adapter, and then click Next twice.
10. If a message about driver signing appears, click Continue Anyway.
11. In the Completing the Add Hardware Wizard dialog box, click Finish, and then click OK.

Guys, please dont flame me Im sorry for this question give me alittle slack, Im old lol. But Ive gone over all the instructions 100 times. The only thing I dont see during my set up is that Ipv4 thing, my loopback shows setup on "connection 4" and seems to be seeing packets?? is that Ipv4 a Vista thing or do I need to see that with XP also??

And if I already download it? What can I do?
When I try to log in it shows me a window with text like "Proxy connect fail" and in Lineage window is text like "You are currently logging" and nothing happens. Yesterday after that update download it was working right.
Help me please.
