That's how it works for most games that I know of and that's just a fact. But league could be different so like I said someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are more correct than most of the people who spread miss information here everyday
External is just more beginner friendly, if you dont know exactly what you are doing and need margin of error and experiment external will better for you.
Or if you just want to get things done fast without hassle. For example if i ever want to make something for personal use fast in the morning to be playing in the afternoon in a new released game. I would do a quick external tool for example esp+aimbot for a random shooter ill probably forget about in 4 days.
But if i want to make something to be proud of, then i do it internal.
The problem is, not everyone takes the decision for the correct reason and most of the developers on the scene are unexperienced so statistically externals tend to have less bans. But internal in the right hands its overal better option for the long term, but the amount of knowledge and experience it requires is not something u can get the hang of it fast.
