Simply because the new one is confusing and bad. i started playing this game when the old hud was released and got used to it so much.

wait 1-2 months...noone will remember the old HUD.
(just < 5% who dont like changes)

The new HUD is better then the old

I guess we have to wait for a suitable mod. Lots of people dislike the new version hence I'm pretty confident there will be a solution
