. A couple of weeks ago, in a post about lol lessons with pro players, TSM Dyrus said:Quote:
if I wasn't where I was I would much rather watch vods of pro players playing a certain champion and copy everything they do
We decided to create a website that could allow fellow League players to do that: search for a specific matchup in a specific lane, and find videos of pros or high elo streamers playing it.
The goal of the website is to help League players learning how to play their champions against every single possibile lane opponent, by watching the very best players in the world play the same matchup on their vods.
Here is a screenshot
of how the website works. The main features are:
- search for matchups in any of the five lol roles
- an archive currently of over 3000 videos
- videos from many pro players' streams properly time-stamped
- videos from many popular youtube channels
- if we don't have a video for a certain matchup, anyone can help out and submit a link to a vod, we will add it as soon as possible!
- an archive of the pro players featured on the website, with links to their streams, twitter etc.
The website has just been created, so even if we already have over 3000 videos in our archive, we still consider it in beta, while we are adding more and more vods to fill up every matchup. Some matchups are really hard to find, such as Heimerdinger in the mid lane or Volibear in the top lane
Following feedback on reddit we decided to implement the much requested feature that allows users to search by just selectin a single champion, withouth selecting the opponent, and find vods of the said champion playing vs random opponents.
Also, we are working on implementing a feature that allows users to see the date of the vods, so that they can easily see which are the newer vods and from which patch every vod comes.
We hope that the website will be an useful resource for the community and we would like to ask you guys for even more feedback, advices, criticism and comments, in order to further improve the website. We would love to hear from you either here or via e-mail.
P.S: If the videos from Twitch TV are not working properly you may want to disable adblock, since a Twitch TV bug prevents embedded videos from starting if adblock is running.
