Why no one can play without hacks in a game? Are you just a so big noob that you need it? Hacks for lol ... you can awit long riot not like warrock or other games and im happy that this are not like warrock o.o'
Theres just a zoomhack which is pretty useless in my opinion and an old package editor which doesnt seem to work. Just learn the game and practice to play without hacks, thats nooby and no one likes it ;p

it was a simply bug, that you were able to set points in the masteries with cheat engine or other client sided editing programms, because they weren t validated when you save and upload them to the server.
That s why the server saved them (even when there are a wrong amount of numbers at some masteries) and you were able to play with a 105% CD reduction on summoner spells or 20+ points on Bonus AD and stuff like that -.-
and BTW: everybody who used that in ranked and normals was banned.
It was a hack, not a bug. He used a program (don't know which one?). With this program he skilled a masterie-point 7times. so yeah you get 105%CD and this is no bug!

if not, it worked like this:
it was right after the update with the serversided masterie pages.
you were able to set your masterie points and then upload the page to the server.
and there was the bug, cause the pages weren t validated!
that means, you were able to set a way higher amount of points on a mastery than usual.
This was pretty easy to do with Cheat engine or Art Money and some other similar programms.
And nearly every idiot can use cheat engine lol...
And yeah i used that bug too on a smurf account (obviously only to test and not to troll and ****, that s why i used it only in casual and bot games).
i ve even written a shrot "how to" in the thread about the bug, but i m too lazy and don t search it, since it is fixed anyway...
and btw, just for the difference, a bug is something that is wrong programmed --> dragon killing bug with some champs at lv 2 w/o dieing, or the non validated mastery pages etc.
a hack is a seperated programm that inject or manipulate something in a game (mostly with injecting .dlls or other stuff)
