Question about referals.

I was wondering if you really get all the content unlocked when you refer 5k smurf accounts to level 5 , or if Riot doesnt want to give you the prize and hence its useless to do it.

I have heard that Riot doesnt want to give the big prizes to people who dont refer real people but i couldnt find anything that prove it, that why i ask here, where some people might have gone over 5k referals and know the real answer.

If you do it on your own you will not get it but if they are REAL u will.
