How to cause server down

Hi all, i want to know if there is any software or any way to cause a server down to disconnect all people. For example in a battle.

Sending a lot of packages or similar to the server.

i have heard people usually do it to win dratan battle. When the time of the batte is almost off, they cause server down to win.

just login with 1000 accounts at one time that should cause laggs and disconnects^^
