Adding weapons

Good evening all.
So I wanted to add new weapons in my server but I have a problem, i tried duplicating a weapon and changed it's name and status but when I use it in the game, the character changes it's pose as if it were holding it but the weapon doesn't appear, why is that? Is there something i should do other than exporting the item file ?

did you give that weap a texture ?

Game can't load model of weapon and its tex, so you have to export smc.lod

So all i need to do is add a new item, then add like the "Data/Item/weapon/ .smc" export item and then export smc.lod?

And if so, how exactly to export smc.lod?

I don't think there is an Exporter for it. Gotta change it client side.
