ein kal server mit 50 prozessoren und 512 gigabyte läuft exakt gleich schnell wie auf nem single quadcore mit 12 gig ram wobei sql noch am meisten ram zieht. der server schluckt so 500 mb bei 10k usern

user, die dein Spiel spielen wollen ?
ich hoffe die rate wird maximal 5x, sonst wirds ja echt langweillig.
ob die Leute von Int langanhaltend rüberkommen wird man sehen, pserver (ja ich seh das jetzt mal als einer) sind halt so arg vorbelastet das sie eh nicht lange halten.
Ist halt auf der anderen Seite schwer einen richtigen Server (lowrate) zu machen, wenn die Leute nicht das Vertrauen in die Serverbeständigkeit haben

not even donations. the game will make fun as a low lvl char and it doesn't take long to get all possible skills. as long as the others have equal levels you can have 100% casting fun @ pvp, which is also getting improved.
there will be no level damage balancing but higher levels allow you to carry better equipment and kill higher monsters / enter new dungeons (there will be a dungeon instance system)

Maybe consider adding some pvp contribution system, that allows you to buy pvp kind of items, that contain pvp def stat (in percentage, for armors), and pvp attack stat (in percentage, for weapons).
Playing AION atm, there it's like that, and people have the choice of going pve for their gears, and they may also go pvp on the other hand.
i'm planning on instance pvp (anytime pvp) and instance dungeons only (every floor will be an instance with an endboss)

aion failed whit the flying pvp content thats why most of the players from aion played more on ground then on the flying zone called abys . well flying and ride system on a game whit moving teleports would be a bit stupid. u will have to add special zones where u can just use it or remove the movings totaly

- important points to reach are cities, hot monster spots and dungeon entrances where you can start different dungeon instances
- there will be flying npc's with flying monsters which can fly u to another city (for some gold)
- maybe i'll add a recall stone, which ports you to your savepoint city

sounds great . just wanted to make sure if i gonna pk someone that he doesn't simply start flying so i cant kill him anymore lol :0 that would suck
would it be posible to remove assassin masks and just make Pk as you come to player press ctrl+(attacking skill) and your in pvp mode, and when you get counter attacked the bouth players gets in pvp mode ( like with masks)
