Introduction of Myself
Hey elitepvpers Team, Joey here.
I'm a 28-year-old from Vancouver, Canada (PST), and I've been actively browsing and participating in the elitepvpers community since 2019. In that time, I've developed a serious respect for the platform's high standards, and honestly, I feel it's time to step up and help maintain them. English is my native language, and thanks to a genuinely flexible schedule, I have a significant amount of reliable, uninterrupted time to dedicate to the moderator role. I'm a
Sections I Would Like to Moderate
I'm applying primarily to moderate the two gaming sections where my expertise is sharpest:
Apex Legends Trading & Cheats
Call of Duty (CoD) Trading & Cheats
While these are my main targets, I'm absolutely open to being considered for a General Moderator position, particularly covering the broader Game Trading & Cheats category. My core motivation is simple: helping maintain order and preventing scamming across the competitive gaming markets.
Experience in the Sections' Theme
While I understand the 150-post requirement helps assess candidates, I believe my practical knowledge far exceeds any numerical metric for this role.
My expertise isn't just theoretical; it’s based on years spent actively engaging with the competitive FPS scene, giving me deep, actionable knowledge concerning:
Apex Legends: I’ve been heavily involved since its launch. This includes intimate knowledge of the current meta-game, recognizing the latest forms of cheats and exploits, and most crucially, understanding the flow of the associated markets. I can quickly spot red flags in account selling, boosting services, or external software offerings and accurately assess thread legitimacy.
Call of Duty (CoD): I have years of experience across multiple modern CoD titles. I know how to navigate the service market, understand the protective measures like Ricochet anti-cheat, and differentiate credible service providers from fly-by-night operations. This ability to verify thread adherence to strict trading rules allows for swift action against black market violations.
On a broader level, I’m familiar with the internal workings of large forums. I understand the delicate balance required to maintain a positive, useful environment while strictly enforcing rules against disruptive users, low-effort posts, and malicious activity.
Why I'd Be the Ideal Candidate
I genuinely believe I can offer something unique and valuable to the elitepvpers team:
PST Coverage is Key: Being located in the PST timezone means I can provide dedicated coverage during critical hours—specifically, the late afternoons and evenings in Central/Eastern Europe. This fills a necessary time gap, ensuring prompt response times for reports and moderation queues during peak international traffic.
Proactive Cleanup, Not Just Reactive Reporting: I won't just sit back and wait for a report button to be hit. My aim is to actively sweep the sections, quickly weeding out irrelevant noise, low-effort threads, and poorly formatted service posts. This proactive approach instantly improves the overall user experience and trading environment.
My Record is Clean: I've been a member since 2019 and have maintained a completely spotless penal record. I understand and fully comply with every staff requirement: I have no outside affiliations with similar platforms, and I am not involved in any private server projects in these sections. My commitment here is absolute.
I’m ready to commit the necessary time and effort to serve the elitepvpers community. Thank you very much for taking the time to review my application.
