I'm here to apply for a MOD on a Silkroad section.

About me:

My name is Aurimas I'm currently 17 when writing this application. At the moment I'm studying IT at a college not really enjoying it, as didn't really learn anything throughout the first year I hope that can change in this year after the college will get into the university to continue my studies. I think that I'm a very creative person, I was told by a lot of people that I got potential but I just need to put time into it.

Why I'm applying

The reason behind my application is that I just want to make a difference in the Silkroad section especially to make elitepvpers greater than it is now. That's why in spare time I try to help elitepvpers to promote the epvpgames youtube channel by making lets plays as a broadcaster. I think that Silkroad section could use another mod since Callum has left the team as only Spidy is most active I don't know about Portal but most of the times it takes couple of days for him to take care of some little stuff and about Nectix as far as I know he is mod in other sections rarely see him in Silkroad section I've seen him today in 4-5 months.
The Silkroad private server section especially needs more attention as there are more and more new users that join that section and they do not read the sticky's and the rules so they make a lot of mistakes, I try to report all of them by the time I'm done with them there are more and most of them don't even get dealt with like 1 out of 10.

Experience with Silkroad

I've been playing Silkroad for more than 5 years now, I think I know most of the things about the game. However, I have no clue on how to run a server or even do simple stuff in the coding section. I've been part of a lot of Silkroad private servers but mostly it was community manager stuff dealing with the community and advertising basically expanding the servers capacity.

Are you mentally prepared and fitting for such a position?

Yes, I have changed in the past year a lot. I've got experience with this kind of stuff as well. I think that I will have no problem on dealing with small stuff like this. I used to respond and give attention to trolls but I no longer do. I thought about and I see no point in giving someone attention who doesn't take stuff seriously.

My experience

As I said, I've been part of a lot of servers as a community manager the biggest one had over 1.8k online players on it and I was spammed with private messages every day I dealt with them professionally, I also have worked for a company called Skinarena ( CSGO gambling website ) I was one of the moderators worked there for 5 months the site is huge and it had over 1k daily users I used to moderate facebook/site chat/steam group and also search for sponsors.

i think Spidy is doing great job there and no need for more mods, i'm not really an active member on that section but i think you would suit for the job maybe in the future, good luck.

She is but none of the other mods are that active so there is a lot of timeframe where nothing gets done.

Currently, you don't fit this position in my opinion. You're kinda impatient, often rushing to the wrong conclusion,
false reports while you could take your time before you submit it and that could actually it cause a misunderstand with other user as a Moderator.
preference is kinda annoying (spoke with you in private and all what you told me is ''I'm still a normal guy, so I guess I can choose sides'') if you know what I'm talking about won't get into details.
I hope you change your behaviour, even a little bit and deal with other users in a friendly manner.

You will probably change this criticism to a positive feedback (hope), also not my decision it's the admins.

IMO, there is no current need for a moderator in that section, although a decent candidate, I think the current moderators are doing fine. And remember, a moderator doesn't need to post in that section to be necessarily classed as active

You are not mature enough to be a moderator of this forum , get triggered easily and complain to the mods way too often when someone is talking about you. Considering this sro section is very cancerous, with a lot of people talking random stuff PLUS that you are part of couple of servers, makes me believe that you will exploit your power to delete negative comments on your server's thread.

Besides, the mods we have right now are more than enough. The sro section isn't that active for more mods.
