I'm applying for the role of Community Manager / Global Moderator as I feel that throughout my time here - I've more than familiarized myself with the rule set of elitepvpers (of course, I used to enforce them myself) whilst actively meeting long-term friends here when interacting with the community.
Experience with the subject
15+ years on Elitepvpers, a consistent contributor towards the forums (Silkroad Online section especially) but have been around throughout the site during my tenure here.
Are you mentally prepared and fitting for such a position?
Yes. I've had stints of inactivity in the past due to growing up, going to college, losing access of certain desktops, mobiles and whatnot, but I've always returned to the place I essentially forged my online gaming identify.
Experience as a moderator

Rev6.com - Ex Moderator (Autumn) - RETIRED
SRO Underground - Ex Moderator (Creationist) - RETIRED
Velestia's Forum - Ex Owner (Creationist) - RETIRED

Elitepvpers.com - Moderator, Editor, Guardian.
GamingForecast - Content creator, CoMA & uploader RETIRED
Extras
- Active user who has frequented Elitepvpers for 15 years.
- Highly knowledgeable within certain sections of the forums specifically SRO, The Black Market, General, Complaint Area & Popular Games. Although I didn't really visit OT due to the language barrier and English language not being the first choice there, I still visit there frequently.
- Educated to a college level in English literature. Ability to write newsletters, rule sets, announcements, articles & more. Being a UK native and having lived here my entire life also helps with this.
- IRL customer experience & administration support (5+ years) professionally.
Well, I have to say, I certainly enjoyed the application.
As it seems, you're are getting more active again? I can't really say much, due to not being in that section loads, but from what I can see, you seem like a nice guy.
Now, personally I feel that not knowing too much about MySQL, and database handling shouldn't affect you too much. I would say, keep posting and helping out, just to prove you will be active here.
Just because your post count isn't "over 1k" or anything like that, shouldn't matter, as long as you are posting quality posts. I honestly don't know what to talk about, as you seem to have covered it for me.
Report a bit more, if there is too much to report, I'm sure you can report at least some of them and help the mods out!
I'm going to give you a yes, I would just like to give it a few weeks, or even months just to see how you are later on. Reporting and posting wise.
Sorry it isn't loads to talk about, I'm lost on words at the moment, and I feel I'm just repeating myself, but good luck!
Good to see that someone, at least, wants to join SRO section
however, your recent report count is pretty low(8)
try being more active there and report more
SRO is a easy way to get reports
As for your experience
SRO is not a place to have a LOT of db/coding exp
we do have our coding section(and underground but this one is dead)
I, on my part, got exp on MSSQL, PhP, MySQL, C#, Java, C++, VB, and a bit of LUA
but is not a MUST to have them

Thanks Portal, It's pretty hard to report someone without posting for some reason (might just be me, no idea) but yeah, I'll try and get my report count up!
I dont know you that much but all i can say is SRO section really need a friendly mod. and from all your posts that i saw was friendly enough. Good luck
Again that report count bullshit... when will you people learn that you don't really need to report a lot to do a good moderator? Maybe instead of reporting and waiting for someone(now it's only a single moderator) to do something he prefers to deal with the issue himself?

Thank you Over-Limits :-)
*edit - @Haze - I suppose so, but it just shows that you are interested in helping.

Not really. You could be truly a douchebag looking to destroy epvp's reputation and you could all act nicely, being helpful, reporting and ****, and nobody would find out your true intentions if you were smart enough. Obviously, reporting might also show that you're dedicated to the helping cause, but that's not something that describes you as a moderator right away, without even testing the person on the earlier mentioned position first.
is not just reporting
reporting is a way to tell you want to help, but not necessarily apply for it
you can be a complete douche and even report that your actions will have impact over the Admins decision
you will not ask for a mod app without even being active on a section
