Actually, bane closed his sro app because the users there don't exactly like him, therefore he closed it and decided he'd get to know the community a bit better. As said before, mister JohnHeatz has asked for help, bane, being a respected member of the Shaiya section (and an exmod) is a good pick as he already knows how things work.

I support Bane 100% for the MOD position. He is and old epvp member and also he has a lot of experience as MOD and regarded to Shaiya.

Giving the circumstances we are having on the Shaiya "world" right now, as one of the most helpful developers of the section he would be of a huge help right now, has been already helping to get the section alive so by adding him to the team there won't be anything else than awesomeness added
Yes, the Shaiya community recently got the spark it needed, one of our best developers, Lilprohacker, released a fix that we have been wating for, for almost 2 years.
Also, the new Shaiya Dev Team, has found a way to halt the actions of a certian hacker we have encounterd lately.
Hello all, as far as most of you are concerned, I am new here... though I've been around the Shaiya community for about 4 years, have played & tested many pservers, & have lurked here silently learning. I've seen Bane around, learned things from his posts & releases, and I say we do need more knowledgeable guys like him around, so long as how he himself puts it they are not corrupt. For knowledge is power & the power needs to be in the right hands. Some have the power such as our despised DDoS'er... & use it to terrorize our community. The only way around this is to keep the non-corrupt with this knowledge high in the community & for us up-&-comers to learn from them, build a support system. And I support Bane +1
