Vyn is right... The Sro section needs to be in it's best at all time. I was really inactive during the last few weeks as my m8s said. well... that was just to take care of things first.
Anyway, I know Cho0as since I became a mod. It's nothing personal, but I can't imagine him as mod
Disadvantages :
He do post useful tools for sro and help others with their problems. However, he is sometimes inpatinet (thats why he spams without realizing, I think). I add my vote to John. He is like want to have more influnce in the forum. He ofently tried to act to like a mod by posting stuff like " #Confirmed.... # Delete .... # infraction ...." though he is not authoraized,yet ,to do that. His previous account,  , had good stat as well as some infractions ( 2 infraction and 2 warnings ). Each one of them is from a different mod. He may have changed now from the past... who knows? Still, he is in the "best 10 spammers" list in our section"  ( he is not #1  )
Being a Mod needs a good ineracter with people in the forum more than having many skills and knowledge.
Advantages :
His activity in the forum is on his side for his application. He got enough info about sro to answer almost any issue about the game. Knows a lot about programming stuff ( Autoit and vb6, as far as I know from him).
Thats just my opinion, of course.

Try to remember one thing,noone is perfect.
He didnt spam in the past week,and hes very anxious about getting this status,thats the cause of the spamming in the past.
My opinion:give him a "1 week mod trial" and see how he will react.

Alright, maybe my judge was on him since I last was here (about a month ago). 3 days have past.... I think he is not spamming like he used to be :P

True,if he would get trial,everybody would want to get that.
I guess a head admin must decide this,we just try to clear things out.
I guess after your comeback,sro section only needs one more mod,after that its more then enough.so they must make the right choice
