I know the Silkroad Online section isn't in need for a new moderator, but I would like to be in line for one at least.

Why do you want to be moderator?
I would love to be moderator because I not only love challenges, I love helping people and like to share my knowledge. I take pride in what I have learned over the years and continually learn by helping others resolve their issues.
I have been contemplating typing up an application for awhile, right now I have a lot of free time and I can commit most of it to moderating the Silkroad section, the moderators there do a great job, and I would like to be a part of it.

How much experience do you have with the issue from the forum you apply for a moderator job?
I've been playing Silkroad Online on and off for about 4 years.

Do you have enough time to visit the board averaged two days and to take an interest in the forum?
I currently spend many hours a day checking out the forum and helping to out when needed, so I can delegate time to doing this well. I made checking the forum as part of my daily routine and get great pleasure out of looking for new ideas and needs of other people.
The Silkroad Online section is usually very active, always new threads, and issues to deal with, and the odd user trying to cause harm to others, I will get great pleasure out of moderating here.

Do you took part there before you sent your application?
I joined in March last year on the off chance, I was refereed by a friend, since then I have spent a lot of my time here.
Most people are really nice, and are friendly, there is such a great community and atmosphere there.


Do you have a lot of patience with questions wich you think thyselve that they are very stupid?
Yes, I do enjoy helping people and part of helping them is to make sure they understand everything, and not just follow instructions, so I do have patience and believe in following up to make sure their issue or needs is resolved and they understood completely.
I find the whole purpose of being here is to help and be helped, I try to explain things in a way that people will fully understand and they will be able to pass it on, and help others.

Can you act good in general with other human beings?
I have excellent communication skills, and I believe in respecting people and to treat them as I would want them to treat me.

Did you ever operate as an moderator before?
Yes, I was once a moderator at a Yahoo! board about 2 years ago, due to some unexplained incident the forum was shut down, but during the active period, there was quite a few members, it mostly for applications and other exploits, and such, so I to be careful.

That is not how the application process works. Applications will only be accepted for positions that are currently in demand.

Also if you are serious about being a mod then you may want to add a bit more detail to your application. Some additional information seems to be missing from your application as well... ICQ.. age.. email..

Yes indeed, the application looks more complete now and informative. And since Trane is saying there is a need for a SRO Mod then you have my vote.

the BIG need is for SRO Private section , do you think you also could help out there ?

I am talking about basic things like moving threads that dont belong in the release section , closing flame threads etc.

And could you handle all those reports/ Or at least most of them ? There are many reported posts every single day and so..

And that's true about SRO Private servers section, I only took a look there and in made few reports, unfortunately those weren't even checked.

Well I will not tell you much about how is it going in mods' forum since you aren't one of us yet.

I don't really check the Private Section so much, because I'm not part of any server, but reports to do with spam, advertising, flaming, etc, I can deal with.
