the Arena team has tracked these guys and suspended accounts for 6 months

Yesterday we suspended 1,583 accounts for a period of 6 months. 1516 accounts were suspended because we detected that the accounts were running Guild Wars 2 at the same time as one or more of the following programs over a significant number of hours during a multi-week period earlier this year. We targeted programs that allow players to cheat and gain unfair gameplay advantages, even if those programs have other, more benign uses.

Programs Detected:

CheatEngine
Nabster
GW2MHRexe
UNF
MMOMINION

Bummer for me cause I was only using to gather stuff for skill training now that has been put off for 6 months

They already removed the detection portion already but didn't matter much since old clients were kept and being taken apart to look specifically at what they were doing.

They just tilted there hand as I said an should not of, since now anet is being unlazy and we can perhaps be better prepared.

The esp was not in the list, I'll start preparing that now for any future shenanigans from anet.

I bought a new account. played 2 hours got ban (4000 ~ h). did not use anything. any idea wth is goin on? sorry for bad english

I have no idea how they ran the detection. I abused the speed and no fly hack during the first few days of SAB like the mofo. Literally completed my W1 tribulation skins in half a day. I was SURE i'd get hit with the ban hammer when I heard the news.

To my surprise, I'm not. Not sure how they banned people

Because they stopped tracking everything when SAB event started. Read reddit. They started monitoring processes at march 6 and stopped at march 27. So, they collecting data for 3 weeks and banned everyone who runs something suspicious at that time.

So, is unf safe to use now even if they were to put that little bit back in down the line? Just curious but not sure if I will ever use it again after being suspended as don't wanna lose my main. Worked too hard to get **** I have there. But might try it on another of my accounts if you feel confident in it not getting found again.

Hey I'm new GW2 and would like to try out your bot. What are the odds of being banned? I see a lot people saying it's both safe and others are saying to hold off for now? I'd use it primarily for leveling mastery skills/gathering and map completion. Will wait from an official update from Plox in the meantime! Thanks!

Well speed hacking on any game, be it gw2 or else wise, is something that can eventually be detected on the server end ( archeage/bdo/BnS - all do if in excess of certain amounts ), but most of the other features are relatively hard to detect outside of them just outright detecting the program.

I mean honestly as much as I have updated or been on using tools on my account, you'd of thought me to be one of the first to be banned, but apparently not.

I would just hack to my hearts desire, if patches go up then simply wait for people to check into them an make sure anet isn't doing anything sneaky again ( only took them 5+ years to do something, slow coders it seems ).

Why "still"? You can use any of em, the difference only in what will happen with your account in result.
